Illuminus is a world music/psy dub duo consisting of Dennis Tapper and Magnus Holte. Dennis is a well known psy trance and chillout producer under the name Hux Flux, and has been a professional musician for over 20 years. Magnus, a.k.a MAC-nuZ, has been into music his whole adult life and started his career with the reggae/pop duo Juice under Polygram records. Juice released a number of tracks that became world wide radio hits. After the Juice heydays Magnus joined the psy trance movement as half of the duo Ibojima, but left this constellation after their first album to focus more on his love for dancehall, hip hop and reggae, and have in those genres produced tracks en masse. Dennis and Magnus joined forces in 2007 and have now finally put together their first full length album as Illuminus after a number of appreciated releases on various chillout compilations and many gigs on festivals around the globe
