Electronic activist since the 90's.
Tajmahal's compositional style can be viewed as a bridge between trance and downtempo rythms.
His style is fluid and deep in meaning: his music narrating the inner story of his feelings.
When Dj-ing, he combines his spotless technical skills with creativity, expressed via his broad and eclectic musical knowledge: he is famous for telling a story and leading the crowd step by step on the path to dance floor enlightenment.
This path can encompass different music styles: Ambient, Downtempo, Progressiv, Full on, Psychedelic trance - all within the same DJ set: Taj knowns no stylistic boundaries or tempos restrictions.
Tajmahal is Electrik Dream’s label manager, but he is also part in a number of different projects around the world. In 2007 he released « Star Circus », his first album for Electrik Dream.
Currently, he is Working on a healing chill out project « UASCA » in collaboration with Dj Fluxo (Quest4goa-Portugal). Their album and DVD « Cosmos Umbilical » will come manifest in our reality in late 2017.
Taj was Invited by Jean Luc Briancon aka « Kurtz Mindfiled » to participate in the finalization of the composition and mastering of the final cd of a trilogy albums.
This project is an homage to the Berlin School Ambient period, for the analogue sound lovers. Their album will be released in september 2017 @ Electrik Dream records and be presented for the first time at Hadra audience for a brand new and exclusiv live set: « ANALOGIC TOUCH » “From Berlin School to Electronica Ambient”.
This Year Hadra offer him the chance to play twice as Dj, one set will be on the Alternativ stage from Uptempo to groovey techno trance sound.
And a second performance more Chill out Ambient Downtempo oriented in the chill out Stage.
